Fulminating Sandstorm is an event in Genshin Impact version 3.6 Phase 1. The duration of the event is April 21, 2023, to May 1, 2023. This event involves combat against multiple waves of enemies, repeated three times. Players are not allowed to change the party composition.
Players must be on Adventure Rank 28 or above to be able to take part in the event. They must also have completed Archon Quest Chapter 1 Act 3: A New Star Approaches.
How to start the Fulminating Sandstorm event in Genshin Impact
If the event requirements are met, the quest will be added to the menu. Navigate it and talk to Shriya in Aaru Village. Follow the quest marker and talk to Vinayak. Talking to Vinayak will start the event challenges.
Genshin Impact Fulminating Sandstorm: Event Gameplay
- Starting a challenge will take you to the place where you need to defeat some enemies within a fixed timer.
- After defeating them, you will have to interact with an object in the area. It will be easily visible since it will either be glowing or marked. After clearing an area, Four-Leaf Clovers will appear to take you to the next area. You will have to defeat enemies this way a total of three times to complete a challenge.
- After clearing the first challenge, wait til 8 am the next day. Four-Leaf Clovers will assist you to reach the location of the two researchers. Talk to them. Begin the second challenge.
- This time after defeating the enemies you will have to interact with a mechanism. Repeat it three times and in the end, interact with the Wenutslayer Cannon to complete the challenge.
- Four-Leaf Clovers right above a group of enemies will contain a buff, do not forget to take it. This buff changes depending on the challenge.
- Sometimes, a deviant wenut can attack from under the ground, be careful.
Genshin Impact Fulminating Sandstorm: Event Rewards
Completing each challenge will reward players:
- 80x Primogems
- Hero’s Wits
- Mora
- Sumeru Weapon Ascension material
- 1500 BP EXP
This event added additional “This BP Period” Battle Pass missions to the Battle Pass. The Battle Pass EXP (BP EXP) obtained from these missions does not count towards the weekly experience limit of 10,000 BP EXP.
