The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story, the immersive live-action mystery-adventure game which previously released on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for the PC, will make its mobile release on Tuesday, April 25th on Android and iOS devices, as announced by Square Enix.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story utilizes touch-screen controls for more intuitive gameplay
Players assume the role of mystery writer Haruka Kagami who must use her deductive skills to discover the truth behind four mysterious deaths that all befell the Shijima family in the previous century in this eerie, enigmatic murder mystery that was directed by Koichiro Ito (METAL GEAR SOLID V) and produced by Junichi Ehara (NieR: Automata). This authentically traditional Japanese tale is unsettlingly brought to life through a totally unusual fusion of live-action scenes and top-notch cinematography.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Tale uses touch-screen controls for more intuitive gameplay on mobile devices while also enhancing numerous gameplay elements from a quality-of-life standpoint. These additions complete a compelling story featuring Yuta Hiraoka as Eiji Shijima, the heir of the Shijima family who comes home to assist in solving the mystery surrounding his tragic family, and Nanami Sakuraba as Haruka Kagami.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Tale will be available for $17.99 USD upon its release, however on May 10 it will increase to $19.99 USD. By placing a pre-order on the Apple App Store now or making a purchase through the Google Play Store when it launches, players can benefit from the temporary discount.
