The qualifier event of the Mobile Legends M5 World Championship 2023 in Myanmar is over and Burmese Ghouls became the crowned champion. Scoring a 4-3 against Mythic Seal in the nail-biting grand final has brought the team their desired crown.
Besides being the champion, the event also brought a direct slot for the team in the upcoming M5 World Championship.
M5 World Championship Myanmar Qualifier 2023: How it went for the champion
Starting with the Qualifier, the Myanmar event was held in three stages. The group stage took place in September where four invited teams and four qualifier teams participated. However, six teams managed to qualify for the playoff stage after the end of the Group Stage. Being the topper of Group A, the champion team started their grand final journey on the upper-bracket final. Group B sent their point leader Mythic Seal to face off.
Mythic Seal showed an insane rampage on the champion team and went to the grand finals. The scoreline was 3-0 and M5 World Championship 2023 Myanmar Qualifier champion Burmese Ghouls had to join the fight with Falcon Esports in the lower bracket final. A cut-to-throat battle was featured in that match but the champion team managed to overcome the obstacle. Then, the team moved to the final to meet their nightmare again.
Mythic Seal did manage to threaten the champion and at the time it looked like they were going to be the country representative in the M5. Showing a great turnaround in the last two rounds, Burmese Ghouls picked their win by making the scoreline 4-3.
