With the newest Patch 1.8.26 Update in Mobile Legends Advanced Server, the developers at MOONTON Games have devised a huge balance change system in heroes, tweaked the Emblem Setups and carried out Equipment changes in the game. Along with all these changes, there will be a StarLight Fest event will be available with new skins and resources, held from the 13th of October, 2023 to the 18th of December, 2023. Let us break down more about this update.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.26 Update: Hero Adjustments

Roger (Buffed)

Developers have emphasized Roger’s tactical significance and performance, as most of the time he is dominant in the game in the wolf form when the team is leading in Gold. So, the devs have balanced the difference in damage output between his human and the wolf forms. Roger’s human form is now stronger at lowering enemies’ HP while his wolf form is stronger at finishing them off.

Passive (↑)

Revamped Passive: In human form, Roger’s Basic Attack and skills deal additional damage equal to 5% of the target’s current HP. In wolf form, Roger’s Basic Attack and skills deal additional damage equal to 5% of the target’s lost HP.

This effect can only deal up to 60 additional damage against Creeps.

Human Form – Skill 2 (↑)

New Effect: Gains 40% Attack Speed for 2.5s

Human Form – Ultimate (↑)

Optimized the control experience: Removed the backswing time after Roger lunges. He can move or attack immediately after he lunges.

Wolf Form – Skill 1 (↓)

  • Base Damage: 300-600 >> 250-500
  • Total Physical Attack Bonus: 150% >> 125%

Yi Sun-shin (Buffed)

Developers will continue to make experimental changes with Yi Sun-shin and optimize the gameplay experience.

Attributes (↓)

Attack Speed Ratio: 80% >> 40%

Passive (↑)

  • Gain 20% Movement Speed for 1.5s after removing the Battle Scars from a target with his skill.
  • Greatly increased the speed of Yi Sun-shin’s longbow attacks.

Skill 2 (↑)

New Effect: Slow enemies by 50% for 1s.

Harith (Buffed)

Experimental Change: Harith’s Passive does not work well against the high-level CCs. So, developers changed it to enhance Harith’s survivability.

Passive (↑)

Revamped Effect: According to the number of nearby enemy heroes, Harith gains up to 45% Resilience >> up to 30% Hybrid Lifesteal.

Ultimate (↑)

New Effect: Harith gains 15% Resilience within the range of his Ultimate.

Wanwan (Buffed)

Developers have reduced Wanwan’s dash speed in the last few patches to make it easier for her opponents. However, since devs have increased the cooldown of her control removal ability, the dash speed nerf seemed unnecessary. Therefore, developers are reverting Wanwan’s dash speed change to improve her gameplay.

Passive (↑)

Increased how much Wanwan’s dash speed increases with her Attack Speed to bring it in line with the pre-nerf version.

Tigreal (Buffed)

Tigreal is a Tank hero with one of the best chain control combos in the game, so devs tried to make it easier for his opponents to deal with his Ultimate. But it seems they made it too easy, so now, developers have adjusted his Ultimate, where it can still be interrupted, but only by enemy heroes, who are not hit by his Ultimate.

Base HP: 2690 >> 2790

Ultimate (↑)

New Effect: The first pull also stuns enemies.

Masha (Nerfed)

Tigreal has slightly nerfed the early-game buffs, since it was given to her in the last patch. Late-game buffs remain unchanged.

Attributes (↓)

  • Basic Attack Speed: 1.03 >> 0.96
  • Attack Speed Growth/Level: 3% >> 3.5%

Passive (↑)

Devs have adjusted how Masha recovers HP at the fountain. Now you don’t need to press any buttons to fully recover all her HP bars.

Selena (Buffed)

Selena has become a solid mid-lane hero with the adjustments devs have made in recent patches. This time around, developers have focused on increasing her lane-clearing efficiency, limiting the use of her Skill 2, and increasing her skill cap in the late game.

Passive (↑)

New Effect: Detonating Abyssal Marks now deals double damage to Creeps.

Skill 2 (↑)

Mana Cost: 70-120 >> 100-150

Ultimate (↑)

Cooldown: 5s >> 5.5-4s

Lunox (Buffed)

Improved Lunox’s survivability and increased her skill cap in the late game.

Skill 1 (Order) (↑)

HP Regen: 60-90 + 20% Magic Power >> 70-120 + 30% Magic Power

Ultimate (↑)

Cooldown: 30-20s >> 25-15s

Julian (Buffed)

Slightly increased the cast range.

Skill 3 (↑)

  • Slightly increased the range to match the range of his Skill 1.
  • Increased the cast range of the enhanced Skill 3 to the same as Skill 3.

Cecilion (Buffed)

Cecilion’s damage output has decreased since the revamp of Lightning Truncheon. Developers will make up for that in this patch.

Skill 1 (↑)

  • Path Damage Bonus from Max Mana: 5% >> 8%
  • End Damage Bonus from Max Mana: 10% >> 16%

Fredrinn (↓)

Fredrinn seems overly powerful and all-rounded in the high-ranked play and tournaments. So, devs will nerf his survivability.

Passive (↓)

Conversion Ratio from Crystal Energy into HP: 25% >> 20% (For damage dealt to Minions: 15% >> 10%)

Ultimate (↓)

Hybrid Defense: 30-60 >> 15-35

Sun (↓)

Sun’s burst damage has increased significantly since his Skill 2 can trigger Attack Effects. So, devs are slightly nerfing his sustained damage.

Skill 1 (↓)

Portion of Attack Effects inherited: 50% >> 40%

Mathilda (Nerfed)

The nerf from the last patch didn’t work as intended, so devs are nerfing her Ultimate even more.

Ultimate (↓)

  • Base Shield: 600-900 >> 400-600
  • Wisp’s Base Damage: 40-60 >> 40 at all levels

Rafaela (~)

  • Slightly reduced the range and speed of the second dash.
  • Reverted the Movement Speed change, but reduced its duration.

Skill 2 (~)

  • Movement Speed and Slow Immunity Duration: 1.5s >> 1s
  • Base Movement Speed Bonus: 15% >> 30%
  • Gains 1% extra Movement Speed for every 15 Magic Power >> Gains 1% extra Movement Speed for every 20 Magic Power. Also removed the Movement Speed bonus cap.

Terizla (Nerfed)

Developers want to make Terizla less dominant while keeping him as a powerful EXP Laner during the laning phase.

Skill 2

  • Total Physical Attack Bonus for the first two hits: 180% >> 160%-185%
  • Total Physical Attack Bonus for the third hit: 300% >> 220%-320%

Balmond (Nerfed)

Experimental Change: The changes in the last patch have effectively buffed Balmond. However, the Movement Speed bonus from his Skill 2 and the hit rate of his Ultimate is too powerful, so devs will revert the changes a little bit.

Skill 2 (↓)

Movement Speed Bonus: 20% >> 15%. Decays over time.

Skill 3 (↓)

Cooldown: 28-18s >> 34-24s

Minsitthar (Buffed)

Developers want Minsitthar to connect his Spear of Glory to following attacks more consistently. For example, use Spear of Glory + Ultimate as a great control combo; or use Spear of Glory + Shield Assault as a quick stun combo. (Enemy heroes can easily escape after being caught by Spear of Glory.)

Skill 1 (↑)

New Effect: Minsitthar can cast other skills while retracting the spear.

Aurora (Nerfed)

Devs have slightly adjusted her combat experience based on her recent performance.

Passive (~)

  • Invincible Duration: 1.3s >> 1.5s
  • Cooldown: 150s >> 180s

Skill 1 (↓)

Cooldown: 6-4s >> 6s

Argus (Buffed)

Improved Argus’ damage and his laning ability in the early-to-mid game.

Passive (↑)

  • Demonic Slash Damage: 100% Total Physical Attack >> 160 + 100% Total Physical Attack
  • Demonic Slash ignores 50% >> 40% of the target’s Physical Defense
  • HP Regen: 65 + 40% Total Physical Attack >> 200 + 10% Total Physical Attack

Aldous (Nerfed)

Slightly decreased Aldous’ stack cap.

Skill 1 (↓)

Soul Steal Upper Limit: 800 >> 650

Khaleed (Buffed)

Skill 1 (↑)

Physical Attack Bonus: 135% >> 145%

Angela (Nerfed)

Reduced the Ultimate’s shield in the mid-to-late game.

Ultimate (↓)

Shield: 1200-2000 + 200%-400% Magic Power >> 1000-1600 + 300% Magic Power at all levels

Edith (Nerfed)

Developers have nerfed Edith’s survivability after she ejects from Phylax.

Ultimate (↓)

Lifesteal Increase: 10%-30% >> 5%-20%

Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.26 Update: Battlefield Adjustments

Emblem changes

Developers will make some balance changes to the Emblems based on their performance so far. They have also noticed that Weakness Finder doesn’t seem to be a good choice for many heroes, and they intend to make it a viable option for heroes, who count every Basic Attack for damage.

  • Weakness Finder [Revamped] (~): Basic Attacks slow enemies’ Movement Speed by 90% and Attack Speed by 50% for 0.5s.
    • Cooldown: 10s.
    • Each Basic Attack reduces the cooldown by 1s.
  • Assassin Emblem Attribute (↓): Adaptive Penetration 16 >> 14
  • Wilderness Blessing (↓): Movement Speed Boost 15% >> 10%
  • Master Assassin (↑): Damage Increase 5% >> 6%
  • Killing Spree (↑): Movement Speed Boost 15% >> 20%

Gold Income

The survivability of Gold Laners has improved significantly because Supports can protect them more effectively, so we’ve made some changes to the Gold Lane to keep the balance between the different positions.

Gold Lane Siege Minion (↓): Gold Boost 45% >> 25%

Equipment changes

Jungling Equipment (Nerfed)

Junglers with multiple defensive equipment are just too powerful in this patch. So we intend to slow down their jungling speed in the mid-to-late game.

Unique Passive: Hunter

Damage Per Second against Creeps: Hero Level x 2 + 2% Max HP >> 25 + Hero Level x 3 + 1% Max HP

Berserker’s Fury (Nerfed)

Developers have slightly delayed the dominant phase of heroes that focus on Crit.

Price

2250 >> 2500

Lightning Truncheon (Adjusted)

Movement Speed Boost: 20% for 2s >> 30% Movement Speed Boost that decays in 2s

  1. Roger now gains a shield from his Ultimate at the beginning of the dash instead of during the dash.
  2. Uranus now gains a shield from his Skill 2 at the beginning of the dash instead of during the dash.
  3. Vale’s skill effects have been reverted to the previous version for now and will be reintroduced in future patches.
